Reid signed from Bradford in the hope that he could solve Preston's left wing problems. He was always a risky signing as he was out with a significant knee injury at the time.
The winger never really made an impact and has not featured for some time. He agreed to return to Bradford earlier this season on loan and this has now been extended until the end of the season.
His contract expires at the end of the season meaning that Reid will be a free agent.
