Pugh has signed a 3 year deal at North End and will hopefully be the first of many additions as Paul Simpson looks to build on the success of last season to get Preston North End into the Premiership.

As the player was under 24 a compensation package had to be agreed with Leeds United or else it would have had to have gone to a tribunial. It is believed that Preston North End have indeed agreed a fee with Leeds United for the left winger's services at a figure believed to rise up to £250,000
