Preston are currently in negotiations with upto four players with offers having been made. The names and offers have been kept under wraps. The main sticking point at the moment is that most players are in contract until the end of June meaning they will get paid until around 31 July, just a week before the season starts. With that being the case the majority ar enot desperate to sign new contracts just yet and agents are tending to wait as long as possible for the best available deal.
