Ten Games To Go

North End sit in sixth place but have only won one of their last four games and that was a struggle to come from behind against Hull at Deepdale. Preston have been lucky to cling to sixth place in the past few weeks with other teams all dropping points.

Preston were defeated againsat the weekend away at Fulham who have pulled ahead in the play off positions. Despite a decent first half Preston failed to have any meaningful attempts on goal.

In the second half the game was meandering along until Nugent head instinctively at a Fulham ball into the box wheich ended up flying past Rudd. Preston never looked like coming back and Kamara sealed the victory for Fulham on the break in injury time.

North End come up against the same problems. Some fans are getting restless over team selection and Alex Neil has taken some of the blame for recent results.

In reality the season shows that Preston have strong home form comparable to most in the division whilst away from home they have struggled to beat any team outside the bottom few places.

If the season is to continue along the same theme then North End will need to pick up victories away to Luton and Huddersfield as well as picking up victories at home to seal a top six spot. It will be a difficult task but not impossible.
