Two Trialists

The trailists are believed to have come from overseas and will feature next Wednesday in the reserve game against Tranmere where their identities will become known.

The pair are thought to be a central defender and central midfielder but no more was said for fear of other clubs gazumping North End to the signature of both players. Both were said to be impressive but Simpson wants to take another look before any signings are made - a throwback to the David Moyes era if there ever was one!
