Winger In Race Against Time

The American international winger has returned to training following an appendisitis operation and now faces the challenge of proving his fitness in time for the play-off campaign later this month.

"Eddie Lewis is on the mend, he's been down annoying us at the training ground and giving the players a bit of stick," manager Billy Davies told the clubs official website on Tuesday.

"He's been walking around which is good and it's just a race against time for him so we've got our fingers crossed."
